Product Introduction
We have developed exclusive rear brake discs (referred to as Brake Disc / Brake Rotor in overseas markets) specifically for the rear wheel position of BYD Surui, with the OE part number OE-3502111. These discs are precisely moulded in a 1:1 ratio strictly in accordance with the dimensional specifications stated in the original factory maintenance manual of Surui.
Original Factory Data Matching, Safe and Compliant
Standard Thickness: The thickness range of the brake disc is 8–10 mm, which fully complies with the rear brake disc standards specified in the Surui owner's manual. This ensures even clamping force of the brake caliper and sensitive braking response.
Permanent Markings: Laser engraving technology is adopted on the disc surface to clearly mark "MIN THK" (minimum service thickness). This marking meets the mandatory requirements of Clause 5.9 of GB/T 34422-2017. Permanent warnings are printed on prominent positions of the brake disc to allow quick judgement of the wear limit during routine maintenance and eliminate risks caused by overuse.
High-Precision Manufacturing, Ready for Direct Installation
Each product undergoes dynamic balance calibration and end-face runout inspection before leaving the factory. The flatness and rotational balance of the disc surface meet the original factory assembly standards. No secondary machining on machine tools is required after receipt; direct in-situ replacement restores the braking pedal feel of a brand-new vehicle, saving time and effort.
Surface Treatment

The rear brake disc (OE-3502111) for the BYD Super Rui features a four-layer composite coating structure. Counting outward from the innermost substrate, these four layers are as follows:
The first layer is the microarc oxidation primer.
• The coating thickness ranges from 8 to 12 micrometers.
• Its function is to seal the minute pores present on the cast iron substrate, forming a cathodic protection layer that effectively blocks the penetration of corrosion at its source.
• During the manufacturing process, water-based coatings should be cured at a temperature of approximately 90°C; this approach ensures both optimal film-forming performance and compliance with environmental protection requirements.
The second layer consists of graphene-modified zinc-aluminum flake layers.
• The coating thickness ranges from 10 to 15 micrometers.
• This layer consists of zinc and aluminum flakes stacked in layers like tiles; when combined with graphene modification, it forms a highly dense physical barrier.
• Based on the formulation of graphene-modified zinc-aluminum aqueous coatings, this layer can withstand a neutral salt spray test for more than 240 hours, poses no risk of hydrogen embrittlement, and exhibits excellent permeability.
The third layer is a water-based acrylic topcoat.
• The coating thickness ranges between 20 and 30 micrometers (the total dry film thickness of these three layers is also controlled within the range of 20 to 30 micrometers).
• Based on actual test data for water-based brake disc coatings, this layer exhibits a salt spray resistance of up to 280 hours, showing no signs of rusting or blistering.
• As it is a water-based system, its volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions are very low, enabling compliance with environmental protection standards for export to overseas markets.
The fourth layer is the laser-etched identification layer.
• Once the coating has fully cured, an automatic laser marking machine will be used to engrave the OE-3502111, MIN THK, and production batch number.
• The engraving depth is 0.2 mm, ensuring that the marking remains permanently clear and fully complies with the requirements of the national mandatory standard GB/T 34422-2017.

Delivery & Shipping Service
📦 Packaging and Shipping Process: Our products are first individually packaged in PE bags and then wrapped with rust-proof paper to prevent corrosion from salt spray during shipping.
Each box contains two units (approximately one per truckload), and is equipped with EPE pearl fiber insulation partitions for enhanced protection.
The outer packaging consists of a five-layer double-walled corrugated cardboard box, which is further wrapped with an additional layer of film.
For full pallet shipments, EU-standard pallets are used, secured with wrap film and packaging tape.
Before shipment, we will provide copies of the packing list, commercial invoice, Certificate of Origin (CO), and ECE R90 certification.
🛡 Warranty Period and After-sales Terms: The warranty period begins on the date of the bill of lading.
The warranty period is either 12 months or 100,000 kilometers, whichever comes first.
The coverage includes manufacturing defects such as sand holes in castings, coating peeling, dimensional thickness deviations, and dynamic balance misalignment.
Regarding after-sales response, upon receiving a customer complaint email, the project manager will respond within two hours and replace the damaged parts during the next shipment, ensuring no delay in the customer's order fulfillment.
Regarding payment terms: a 30% advance payment via T/T is required for the first order, with the remaining 70% payable before shipment. Customers holding Dun & Bradstreet ratings or prior purchase records may also apply for an LC at sight or arrange a credit period arrangement.
The entire shipment can be tracked using a logistics tracking number, allowing customers to monitor its location at any time. If you have specific packaging requirements or wish to customize the shipping arrangement, please let our business liaison know in advance; we will tailor the plan accordingly to ensure safe and timely delivery.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q1: How can I confirm whether the OE-3502111 is truly compatible with my BYD SuperRui?
A: For all models of the BYD SuperRui (2012–2016 models, including both 1.5L BYD473QE naturally aspirated and 1.5T BYD476ZQA turbocharged powertrains), the rear brakes all utilize solid disc brakes; the tire specifications are 205/55 R16, and the standard rear brake disc thickness is 8–10 mm. The 3502111 part was manufactured based on the original dimensions specified in the SuperRui maintenance manual and can be used for direct replacement. Before placing your order, please send us the last 8 digits of your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN); we will provide a written compatibility confirmation letter within 24 hours.
Q2: What are the specific installation parameters for the 3502111?
A: The brake disc thickness range is 8–10 mm (compliant with the rear brake disc standards specified in the SuperRui user manual); the disc surface features a permanent "MIN THK" marking engraved via laser. During installation, tighten the wheel nuts according to the torque specifications provided in the maintenance manual until the brake disc makes firm contact with the wheel hub. The complete technical drawing dimensions-including the center bore diameter, bolt circle diameter (PCD), and cap height-are verified against the original OEM drawings for the 3502111; you may request detailed engineering drawings (in PDF format) from us upon ordering.
Latest News
1. Latest Industry Regulatory Updates: 1. The standard GB 21670–2025 "Technical Requirements and Test Methods for Passenger Vehicle Brake Systems" has been officially implemented on January 1, 2026.
This mandatory national standard, developed by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, imposes stricter requirements on passenger vehicle braking systems. It stipulates that brake discs sold in the after-sales market must have traceable and verifiable information regarding their minimum service thickness specifications and material properties.
2. "Brake disc size reduction" has become a key industry focus in 2026. In April 2026, Li Xueyong, Executive Vice President of Chery Automobile, publicly warned at the Starway EX7 launch event: "Many automakers are now producing brake discs that are increasingly smaller and thinner." New energy vehicles, due to the added weight of batteries and heavier bodies, require higher standards for brake disc thickness and thermal performance. Under price competition pressure, some manufacturers have targeted brake discs as a cost-saving measure-making it more critical than ever for the after-sales service market to adopt compliant, sufficiently thick, and adequately manufactured rear brake discs.
3. GB/T 34422-2017 "Brake Discs for Motor Vehicles" explicitly requires that the minimum service thickness be clearly and permanently marked on the brake disc in a conspicuous location. The laser engraving depth specified in OE-3502111 (0.2 mm) fully meets this requirement.
