The 4243160200 rear brake disc is an original-equipment specification replacement part engineered by Toyota for hardcore off-roading. Whether your vehicle is two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive, with or without electronic parking brake, no modifications are required. You can directly replace the old brake disc with this new one. The mounting holes are precisely replicated to the original factory standard on a 1:1 basis, and the disc is fully compatible with the vehicle's original ABS, VSC and Hill Descent Control systems. It delivers reliable and stable braking performance during desert traversal, mountain driving and daily urban commuting.
Material & Casting Advantages
This brake disc is made of GG20 high-carbon alloy cast iron, which features 25% better thermal fatigue resistance than conventional HT200 cast iron, making it ideal for off-road driving and heavy-load conditions.
Adopting fully automatic DISA static pressure molding lines imported from Denmark, the sand mold precision reaches ±0.15mm, and the wall thickness deviation of rough castings is controlled within 0.2mm. The weight deviation of each single disc is limited to less than 80g, effectively preventing brake pull caused by unbalanced weight distribution.
Molten iron is smelted in medium-frequency induction furnaces. Its composition is inspected by a spectrometer every 12 minutes, with the carbon equivalent strictly maintained between 3.3% and 3.4%. The uniform microstructure consisting of pearlite and ferrite prevents thermal cracks even under continuous braking.
Every batch of molten iron undergoes ultrasonic flaw detection and 120 thermal cycle tests, simulating the working condition of continuous downhill driving on mountain roads for 20 kilometers. Any batch containing internal pores or shrinkage cavities will be scrapped entirely to eliminate potential safety hazards at the source.
Resin sand casting technology is applied to achieve a smooth casting surface, reduce subsequent machining allowance and ensure excellent product consistency.

Surface Treatment

Surface Coating Technology: Triple-layer protection for reliable performance on rough off-road roads
We adopt a three-coating process consisting of phosphating base treatment, cathodic electrophoretic primer and black epoxy topcoat. Our products are more than twice as durable as ordinary brake rotors with a single layer of paint on the market.
First, the entire rotor undergoes phosphating treatment to form a dense phosphate film on its surface. Then a 12-15μm thick cathodic electrophoretic primer is applied, which blocks moisture and oxygen from penetrating inside and delivers excellent rust resistance.
The topcoat is made of imported weather-resistant epoxy material with a consistent thickness of 8-10μm. It achieves Grade 0 adhesion in the cross-cut test, so the paint will not peel off even when hit by small stones during high-speed driving. It also features outstanding high-temperature resistance, with no discoloration even when the rotor temperature reaches 600°C under continuous braking.
Full-wrap painting is applied to bolt holes and the contact surfaces with wheel hubs, completely solving the common problem of rust in these blind spots on ordinary rotors, which often makes disassembly difficult.
The friction surface is processed with ultra-precision grinding and oil-free passivation, with the surface roughness Ra ≤ 1.6μm. The surface feels extremely smooth. The rotor can be installed and used directly without additional grinding, eliminating the hassle of removing anti-rust oil required for conventional rotors.
The edges are finished with 2.5×45° rounded chamfers, free of burrs and sharp edges. They prevent hand injuries during installation and avoid damage to brake pads. Meanwhile, brake squeal is barely audible during low-speed braking.
Machining Workshop
Toyota Prado SUV rear brake disc Number 4243160200 Manufacturing & Quality Control Process
Every single stage of our brake disc production-from raw molten iron to the final finished unit-undergoes rigorous, non-negotiable quality verification at every step.
Melting & Material Validation
Our melting facility is outfitted with German-made direct-reading optical emission spectrometers, which perform instant compositional analysis on every batch of molten iron immediately before casting. We strictly validate carbon equivalent, silicon content, manganese-sulfur ratio, and 5-6 other critical alloying elements against our engineered specifications. Even a 0.1% deviation in carbon content will produce a measurable shift in friction coefficient, while excess silicon leads to inconsistent hardness across the disc. The spectrometer delivers accurate results in under 30 seconds, and all test data is automatically logged to our cloud-based traceability system. Every individual brake disc can be traced back to its exact furnace batch, casting timestamp, and on-site production team. In the rare event of a quality concern, we can retrieve complete historical data to conduct a root-cause analysis within minutes.
Casting & Solidification Control
We deploy fully automated static pressure molding lines to ensure uniform sand mold density and exceptional dimensional consistency across all castings. Unlike older semi-manual lines, our production system operates in a fully unmanned mode, integrating robotic casting, automated material handling, and continuous-flow coating lines. All machining, inspection, and surface treatment processes are computer-controlled, eliminating batch-to-batch variations caused by human error. The single greatest challenge in brake disc casting is not forming the shape itself, but the precision regulation of cooling rates. Cooling too quickly produces an overly hard, brittle disc prone to cracking under thermal stress. Cooling too slowly results in coarse graphite structures that reduce thermal conductivity and accelerate wear. After hundreds of iterative trials and real-world validation, we have optimized our cooling parameters to maintain graphite flake length and distribution in the ideal range for both strength and heat dissipation.
Precision Machining
All finish turning operations are performed on high-precision CNC lathes, with 6-axis articulated industrial robots handling all loading and unloading-eliminating the inconsistencies of manual chuck clamping. Both primary friction surfaces are machined in a single clamping setup, ensuring total indicated runout (TIR) is held to within 0.05mm. We use a proprietary fine-finish turning process to achieve the exact surface roughness required, allowing brake pads to bed in evenly and quickly during the break-in period, minimizing initial noise and uneven wear.
100% Dynamic Balance Verification
Every brake disc undergoes full dynamic balance testing before leaving our facility. Any unit that fails to meet our strict specifications is precision-trimmed to correct imbalances; no substandard product is ever shipped. This is a mandatory full inspection, not a random sampling process. Poor dynamic balance causes noticeable steering wheel shimmy or whole-vehicle vibration during high-speed braking, which is one of the most common customer complaints about low-quality brake discs. For this reason, we never cut corners or skip this critical step.
Final Quality Assurance
Products are only cleared for shipment after passing three comprehensive final checks:
Full dimensional verification (outer diameter, thickness, center bore, and mounting surface flatness)
Complete dynamic balance validation
Detailed visual inspection (for casting defects, coating coverage, and marking legibility)
All units that fail any inspection are immediately segregated and sent back for complete remelting, ensuring no defective parts enter the supply chain.

FAQ
Q: Does Toyota Prado SUV rear brake disc Number 4243160200 fit the Prado 2700?
A: It is fully compatible. All versions of the Prado LC120, whether equipped with a 2.7L or 4.0L engine, share the same specifications for the rear brake system.
Q: Which vehicles are compatible with part number 7L6615302E? Are the front brake discs for Cayenne and Touareg truly identical?
A: Yes. The Audi Q7 (4L), Porsche Cayenne (955), and Volkswagen Touareg (7LA/7L6/7L7) all share the PL71 chassis platform, and their front brake discs feature unified specifications: an outer diameter of 350mm and a thickness of 34mm. 7L6615302E refers to the right front brake disc, while the corresponding part number for the left one is 7L6615301E. This OE part number has cross-reference records across five brand lines, namely AUDI, PORSCHE, SEAT, SKODA and VW. Before purchasing, check if the OE number of your old brake disc is 7L6615302E or 7L6615302K. Verification via the VIN code is the most reliable method.
Q: The curb weight of the Q7, Cayenne and Touareg all exceeds two tons. Can this brake disc withstand extreme conditions such as hard braking at high speeds?
A: With an outer diameter of 350mm and a standard thickness of 34mm, this specification is specially designed for heavy-duty SUVs. Its internal ventilated structure creates centrifugal airflow through wheel rotation to dissipate heat outward, delivering far higher heat dissipation efficiency and heat capacity than solid brake discs. Made of HT250 cast iron, it boasts better thermal diffusivity than regular HT200 material. Braking heat generated on the friction surface spreads across the entire disc more quickly, lowering the risk of local hot spots. It performs perfectly well during normal long downhill drives on mountain roads and emergency high-speed braking, except for continuous extreme braking on race tracks. It is recommended to use engine braking to share part of the load when driving down long slopes, a tip applicable to brake discs of all vehicle models.
Q: Is there a big gap between this brake disc and the original factory part? Is it worthwhile to spend more money on genuine Mopar or Audi parts?
A: In terms of material, HT250 is equivalent to the original G3000 gray cast iron, and the core dimensions of 350×34mm strictly comply with OE standards. We have upgraded the surface coating: water-based zinc-aluminum coating is adopted instead of anti-rust oil, which resists rust for over 720 hours in salt spray tests and offers better durability than the basic anti-rust treatment of original parts. The main difference lies in price. The retail price of brand replacement parts meeting OE specifications is around $114 per piece, while our product costs roughly 40 percent of that price. If you prioritize cost performance, installing it yourself or having a repair shop do the work will help you save a substantial amount of money.
